WELCOME

Thank you for visiting our website. At Spencer Family Books our mission is -
To color your lives with fun and learning
We do that by producing high quality books and resources designed to come alongside parents in their noble duty to train and raise the next generation.
Parenting is hard work. When our children were little we would often say it was the hardest job we had ever had and yet, it was the very best job we had ever had. We still believe that today.
Having been the recipient of so many people pouring into us and providing great resources to train our children, it is our desire to do the same for other families. Thank you for the opportunity to assist you as you nurture your own children.
We hope to see you in the pages of a book soon.

Terms and Conditions

Hey everyone, we’re not real formal here at zipzapzup.net, so here’s what you need to know about the Terms and Conditions for using our site:

  1. By using our site you agree to these Terms and Conditions, and if you don’t agree, well, then you can’t use the site. Continuing to use our site without expressly understanding this implicit agreement does not relieve you of having agreed to them.
  2. Everything we created and which appears on our site (all images, videos, documents, logos, other graphical elements, text, and story excerpts. etc...), belong to us and we assert copyright on them.
    • A little legalize here though – Pursuant to Title 17 of the United States Code, Section 512, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”) we have implemented procedures for receiving written notification of claimed copyright infringement and for processing such claims in accordance with such laws.
    • In other words, if someone feels that we have infringed on their copyright, they can contact us through the “Contact Us” section, and if we agree with them we will remove the problem content.
  3. You’re not allowed to take any of our content, sell it, modify it, copy it and use it for yourself, or send it to someone else, with the exception of any of the free documents that we have available for you to download.
    • Any free documents that we make available for download may only be used in a noncommercial, personal manner.
    • Any products that you purchase and download have their own rules for what you can do with them. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions that come with the product.
    • If we allow for User Generated Content to be uploaded onto our site we do not make any claims of copyright on that material, however, by uploading it you are giving us permission to display it on the site.
  4. We’re not responsible for any papercuts or ink smears on clothes or furniture that could result from downloading and printing our products. Kind of silly to say it, but we have to.
  5. We’re not responsible for any inaccuracies or errors in our content, though if you become aware of any, please feel free to contact us using the “Contact Us” section and we’ll try to get things corrected.
  6. While sections of our site are available and intended for use by children, parents should be navigating to our site and reviewing it before giving their children permission to use it.
  7. Children under the age of 16-years-old may not purchase or enter into any kind of transaction with us.
  8. Should we make message boards or comment areas available we reserve the right to remove any content that we deem as inappropriate for our audience. You are never allowed to post anything that is abusive, obscene, or illegal. Please be nice to each other and respectful in all conversations. Should we become aware of particular individuals who are not behaving appropriately on our website, we reserve the right to take actions to remove them and prohibit future use.
  9. Any attempt by individuals or groups to gain control of our site or to install malware, viruses, or other scripts or codes snippets is strictly prohibited, and if we detect any activity along these lines we will take action to ban said individuals and groups from further access.
  10. We make no promises or guarantees as to website availability. We are providing this service on a best effort basis, and while we do not intend to have outages, we cannot guarantee that they will not happen.
  11. While we can’t envision when or why this would ever happen, if we have to go to court about something, the laws of the State of Florida will be our governing laws and any litigation will take place within the State of Florida.
  12. Links on our website do take you to our print partner site, Barnes&Noble.com, and may, on occasion link to other third-party sites also. Such links do not imply our endorsement of third-party websites or their content, over which we have no control and do not monitor. You are responsible for reading any third-party sites privacy policies and Terms and Conditions and abiding by them.

That’s it. That’s all we have to say on this topic currently, but we reserve the right to extend, amend, or modify these Terms and Conditions at our convenience.
